Forza Horizon 2 Demo crash before the game starts...

After 5 hours downloading what a frustration that the game crash during the introduction video and back to the Home screen.

Contacting MS Support one more time done NOTHING. They just advised to be patient and wait for an update of the console or the game that eventually solve the issue...

I have almost the same problem with Forza Motorsport 5.

How is it possible?

And if it comes from my XB1 why they don't propose to replace it?

I spent in 6 month more than 1000€ on XB1 games and services i can't accept that the main games why i bought an XB1 and not a PS4 is not working perfectly or not working at all...

It's a shame and i promess to tell about it all around me and advise to every single person interested on video games that they should play on PS4 or PC but never buy an XB1.

xbox360 game freeze problem

i need help to fix my Forza Horizon 2 game problem... Everytime i start up the game it crash/freeze my xbox360 at the game entering lading screen.

I have had similar issues and found that uninstalling the application/game and reinstalling it has usually fixed it.

- Go to My games and apps.

- Highlight Forza Horizon 2 Demo.

- Press 'Menu' (formerly known as Start) on your controller.

- Select 'Manage Game'

- Press 'Menu' (formerly known as Start) on your controller again.

- Select 'Uninstall'.

If the above steps do not work, I suggest awaiting on an official game update from the developers.

 

Nearly the same thing happened with me. I get through the initial videos/cut scenes and then race on the road for about 10 seconds (if that) and the game crashes. I get a horrible buzzing noise and the screen freezes, eventually going back to the dashboard
after about 5 seconds.

I am sick and tired of installing games just to reinstall them because they don't work the first time. I never got Forza 5 to work properly - I got crashes like this all the time. I tried Forza 5 on 4 different Xbox One consoles and got the same problem!

I am really looking forward to this retail release at the end of the month, but if it doesn't work for me because of crashes like this, I might honestly just give up on the franchise and maybe the Xbox brand in general.

 

Just an update:

I reinstalled the game, and it still crashes. This time I was able to get through the opening race to the festival, but after selecting my car and choosing the next race that I was going to complete, the game had the same kind of crash - annoying grinding
sound and frozen screen for about 5 seconds, then crash to the home screen.

Unacceptable....

 

Guys, thx alot for your answer after 5 installation it finally works properly. But like you FM5 never worked properly and clearly i stayed on Xbox brand because of Forza and nothing yet on PS4 to compare but those problems are SHAMEFUL for XB1 and MS.

The new information you giveme is that the problem with FM5 was tested on 4 different XB1 so it's not MY XB1 that is a pain in the *** but allmost all of it are shity and MS does nothing...

 

I see that we are disgusted my XB1 and MS because of those problems and we all have amazing gamerscores, it means we are power users who spend a lot of money on gaming. Really MS should treat us really carefully...
