Forza Horizon 2 Crashing at 1st car meet in Nice

I don't know what to do about this problem.

from reading other forums I've notice there is several other people with the same issue, there is various things they have suggested that have worked for some people but nothing seems to work for me.

I've tried a hard reset/power cycle,

Deleting and reinstalling my profile

playing offline

Playing through on another profile (my daughters profile gets stuck at the exact same point)

I haven't tried deleting my save game and starting again but considering it done the same thing on my daughters profile I figure it wont do much.

The other option suggested is to do a factory reset on the console but considering there was over 150gb in downloads to get the games that come with the bundle on the system I am pretty hesitant to try this option.

Now the thing that seems to have worked for most people is to play it on a friends console to get past the car meet then save the game and it should work.

Unfortunately I don't actually know anyone near me that has an xbox one console and I feel that this is not a good enough solution from a game like this.

To make things worse, the glitch appears in a place in the game where I can no longer progress further until I have passed the car meet.

Hi. In store I see app: car pass Forza Horizon 2. Price 5$. This package is included Forza Horizon 2 ultimate idition. I can play in Forza Horizon If buy package the Car pass Forza Horizon 2? I have not bought Forza Horizon 2

You forgot... Drifting, car meets, vinyl creator, photo mode, forza rewards. And yea that's all I got.

It's really cool how many different ways there is too play Horizon 2.
