Forza Horizon 2 (360) disc wont load game.

Hello, recently I purchased a 360 to play some games that aren't backwards compatible such as Forza Horizon 2. However, after setting up the 360, getting a HDD for it and everything, I went to load the game and it gives me the animations for the copywright,
SUMO Digital and Microsoft Studios, but afterwards it just goes to a black screen. Hitting the xbox button does nothing and the only way to leave it is to either manually eject the disc or to restart the console. I've tried with other games like Grid Autosport
and GTA V, being newer and more demanding respectively, and both with more scratched up discs, and both run perfectly fine. I also tried installing the game from the disc to my Xbox and still i get the same result. Any idea as to why the game is doing this?

Probably a really easy answer. Two parts.

^^ None of the Forza games are backwards compatible so not point in moving the save to the cloud.

The only 2 Forza games that came out on both platforms are Forza Horizon 2 & Forza Horizon 2 The Fast & the Furious & each version is a separate game so your progress on the 360 version wont carry over to the xbox one version.

All your Forza stats are recorded in the Forza hub app

Update: in hopes of resolving this issue, I found a scratch in the disc thst might have affected the playability of the disc, so I decided in lieu of using disc I bought the game digital since it was on sale for $9.89. Deleted everything that was installed
with the disc, cleared the cache on my storage device as well. The game was installed with no trouble and having started up the game again I am having the same issue, shows the animations for publisher and developer then goes to a black screen. Some light
on this issue would be greatly appreciated and hopefully I didn't waste ten dollars.

Thanks, but I had already read through that forum. They're experiencing a different issue where the game is stuck at the loading screen. I don't get that far. My 360 doesn't even know the disc is in the tray - it says "Open Tray" when I put it in.

Last night I disconnected my 360 from the internet, removed the HDD and all flash drives, attempted to start Forza Horizon: LCE and my 360 still didn't recognize the disc. This is really frustrating. Forza Horizon: LCE is the only game that does this. Every
other 360 game disc I've tested works fine (picked up Splinter Cell: Blacklist yesterday and it works fine, too). So it can't be my 360.

there was a version of forza horizon 2 for the 360 and a version for xbox one, as you own the 360 version you would need to purchase the xbox one version, problem is you would need to find a disc version as the game is now delisted for purchase.

I should have said I am the only loser in the world who bought this game for the XBOX 360 lol

comparing this game to forza horizon 2, as far as quality goes, forza horizon 2 has it down pack for xbox 360.
