Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue trying to launch Forza Horizon 4.

I would say that if it is persistent, that you would probably want to try to start the troubleshooting steps outlined in

Troubleshoot gameplay issues on Windows 10 and
Game freezes or stops responding on a Windows 10 device respectively.

I'm sorry to hear that your gameplay from yesterday did not save, but when you received the cloud error message, your PC was more than likely having issues connecting to Xbox Live, so you played essentially offline and the data was saved locally which was
deleted from what you said so your progress for those 4 hours were not backed up to your cloud storage unfortunately.

Were you still able to recover a save and get into the game with your profile? And is the Xbox app connected to Xbox Live? You can check in the Network panel from the Xbox app.

My brother was able to delete the game saves, inside the pc and reinstall the xbox app, but what I played yesterday did not save anything unfortunately I lost 4 hours of game play.
