Forza gets Fast and Furious stand alone expansion - for free

My god son was here last night, he just turned 6 last week and he was beating loads of my times lol

 

@ImDrunky it is FH2 presents the fast and the furious. It has Tej doing voice over and the vehicles from the films.

This is way better than Fast and Furious showdown on the 360. I said to a mate last night why dont they have a whole forza game based off Fast and Furious? There must be enough fans of the film to warrant it?

 

This expansion is absolutely awesome. And Ludacris helping with the voice work is awesome. And the difference between the 360 and Xbox One is quite noticeable. And that goes beyond graphics

 

I loved this expansion. Busted out the quick 1000 and will still continue to play it as i love the cars especially the muscle while just free roaming looking for signs and stalking my friends drivetars coaxing them to race me lool I have to download this
on my 360 yet just to see the differences and because i like this that much and don't have FH2 yet so this is a nice treat until then.

 

I still have until April 10 to claim it if I want. Does anyone know what exactly you get in it and how big the download is? Does it include any new maps? I've been seeing this Stormy Island ad when I jump on Forza Horizon 2.

I think the game is a good way to make more friends. I have a full Xbox 360 friends list but only 20% of my friends have an Xbox 1. The game is very similar to Test Drive Unlimited 2 on Xbox 360. It's easy and quick to find matches and I use Kinect for voice
chat.

 

^The Xbox One download was approximately 15gb and the 360 was more like 2.5gb.

I might throw this on tonight, though I want to play the full game as well! I'm actually glad this is short and sweet, still a lot to do on FH2!

 

Does it include new maps? new cars? If anyone can tell me, that would be appreciated. All I saw in the trailer is like 2 kind of vintage or something cars driving on roads/map which look similar to the roads/map you get with the base game.

 

I personally haven't played it, but I believe some of the cars are different to the ones in the main game, but the map and races are the same.

 

No maps just some cars and it's 15GB big? I think I'll pass. Thanks for the info tho

 

Smiles, I think it needed to be that big for the people that didn't own the retail game. Maybe it's a smaller download if you already own the game? idk, I bought the game afterwards.

 

^Nope, I own the game and it's 15gb, it's a standalone thing so it will always be that size.

Apparently there's a lot of things taken out of the 360 version, can't comment on what, but a lot of people say it's a shell of a game on the 360 compared tot he X1.

 

Just finished up on the 360 one. The X1 is miles ahead of it. The 360 version is very restrictive. There are fences up and going off road is virtually non-existent. You basically have to stick to the roads. I missed the freedom of just taking a shortcut
through the trees to get where I'm going.

 

The 360 version is a lot different in many ways. No weather but there is night and day cycle. All the cars sound different to the One version and as bowski said there is almost no offroad what so ever unless you fly off the road but you will hit an unbreakable
fence and almost all the races are different between the two.

I don't believe the 360 version has an unlockable online mode and looks like the bucketlist are different and the 360 version seemed to be more challenging on the normal difficulty than One's...overall besides the story and a few other things the 360 version
was different in a lot of ways and a fun ride..but i'll stick to the One's version.

 

^Whoa, did you say this standalone game has an online mode? Does it match make with people that have the normal FH2? I thought that would be an awesome feature if it were the case! What better way to get people addicted.

I doubt it does, just a pipe dream, but still cool if there is some online component on the X1.

 

Indeed DA I think the online is only in the One version though and i haven't tried online yet as i keep free roaming around the single player loool so not sure how matchmaking works:/ My brother has the full game and was hoping to connect with him sometime
when he's on so i hope for the best.
