Forza five for free?

I signed into games for gold & there was forza 5 ...no explanation of free or a cost involved so I tried it ....downloaded over 40 gigs which used up a sizeable amount of my monthly data plan....played it all day on 9/7. yesterday I get the message do i
own this disc & it is not playable....what gives? I can see offering a demo for limited time but a full game?

Forza five gold weekend

I installed forza 5 from the gold weekend for free. I played it for a week and I had no problems at all .Today I played it for anhour then I used skype 5 minutes later I tryed to play it again but it didn't let me play it sayd that I have to buy the game
. It shows the option to unisttall it when I go to settings.So tath the game is still installed on my xbox .Please help me to resolve this problem

Hello everyone, sorry even if it is the right place for my question, but do you think will come out forza five to xbox360?

 

That's exactly what they did. Forza 5 was free for the weekend:

it's a new thing with Xbox. they give full game access now instead of demos at times.

 

And that is the hook...you are more likely to buy the game after downloading such a huge chunk of data.

Well it's safe to say they won't have Ryse for free on any given weekend. Everyone would beat it then even on hard mode.

 

It happened to me too and I was not aware it was for a weekend or a short period of time and I even purchased extra car packs to race in house. I will now have to buy the darn game. I will at least wait now until Forza 5 comes out.

 

Um, Forza 5 IS ALREADY out... It was a launch title for the console.

 

It was a free play weekend. It was announced earlier last week, we'll have these more often
