Forza failed download taking up 250gb + of space

I tried downloading forza horizon 5 twice last night with the downloads failing at 20% and 100%, after cancelling the download the space taken up is still being taken up on my hard drive, trying to install again to see if it will pick up where it left off has just taken yet another 100gb of space meaning 1/2 my hard drive is being taken up by a game i cant even play. Is there any way i can access these files to delete them?

I'm sorry to hear you are having issues downloading and installing Forza 5. Here are a couple of solutions I have found.

Solution 1: On Windows 10, Open a folder (like Documents) then scroll down to This PC. When you're there, right click Windows C: > Properties > Disk cleanup and select all boxes, run it. This should also clear any stuck game data on other drives. It is usually under delivery optimization files.

I would make sure to get the 250GB HDD. Otherwise you will probably end up buying one later. 4GB isn't much storage space. Especially if you install games to the HDD so they load quickly or download movies. Also think about game addons you want to download,
they take up space.

I.would.recommend.getting a 250gb hard drive because the 4gb was a pointless idea as it gets taking up within a minute, especially if you install forza 4 or 3, so yeah get a 250gb

Programs and apps downloaded from the Microsoft Store are installed in the following path by default: C:/Program Files/WindowsApps (Hidden items). To check hidden items, open This PC, click View and select Hidden items.

To take over the folder;

- Here is the path you should follow: C

rogram Files.

- Go to View and check the box next to Hidden items.

- Locate the Windows Apps folder and right-click on it.

- Select Properties from the drop-down menu.Select Security. Then select Advanced.

- Go to Owner. There click Change.Enter Microsoft account email address.

- Check the box next to ‘Replace owner on subcontainers and objects’.

- Apply your changes.

- Locate and click your account in the list. Click Edit.

- Check the box next to Full Control.

Sorry mate, already looked in there and there’s nothing forza related including Packages\Microsoft.624F8B84B80_8wekyb3d8bbwe\SystemAppData\wgs\, that is suppose to be the forza horizon 5 file name. Any other suggestions?
