Forza can't sign in, unable to play. "Sign in needed"

When trying to play Horizon 3 I get to the menu where it says press "Enter" to start and when I press it it should log me in so I can start playing but instead it just pops up a window for a second and disappears and then it says "Sign in needed" "You may
not proceed without being signed in to a profile." And the same also happens with me trying to log in to Forza hub. But I can still login to the Windows Store and the Xbox app.

I have tried reinstalling the game, reinstalling the Forza hub, tried many different accounts including local and microsoft accounts. Checked my Windows updates are up to date. But nothing helps. Also contacted live chat but didn't resolve the issue and
recommended me to post here.

Anyone got anything that could help?

Xbox and Games can't sign in

Hi guys, I could play forza horizon 3 and sign into xbox app until today. It gives me an error (0x409) 0x80080300 and it says that I can't sign in now while forza horizon 3 says that I should sign into an account to play. What can i do?

xX GOJAG Xx is correct about having to re-accept the new Terms of Use, that should get you back into the game. If it does not, please let us know.

I had a similar prob. I needed to run the Win8 Games app [ green tile with a white xbox controller ] and accept the new terms and conditions

then everything worked ok

Forza's exact error message is:

SIGN IN NEEDED

You know....it's pretty ridiculous that I can't even play a game PERIOD because I can't sign in to my xbox one. I can't do the campaign mode on BF 4, hell I can't even race on forza 5 because it all requires me to sign on, and my xbox one won't let me. I
keep getting sign on error messages such as 0x80072EE7. My internet has been working fine ALL WEEK! I don't know what's going on at microsoft, but this is pretty stupid. I shouldn't HAVE to be online to play a regular, non-multiplayer game mode. They need
to fix this.
