Forza 7 stops installing

Hi ngorphi. Thanks for your reply. I was online but I wasn't prompted to install Forza hub. Is this something I have to initiate myself separately?

I'm using an XBox One console.

Ok, I tried playing offline and the message is "Check your disc...might be damaged or dirty..etc (Ox87e00064)

It looks to be in pretty good condition. Nothing obvious.

Xbox games will stop installing while they download the update unless you tell them not to. I always recommend letting the game install it's default version and then starting the game so that it will prompt you to install the update. This seems result in the least number of problems

Don’t worry about installing the Forza Hub It was actually officially retired and delisted from the Microsoft Store on September 15th 2021, so even if you manage to find the app there it wouldn’t be available to access anyway. More info on this here:

What OS version are you currently on? You can find this info in Settings > System > Console info.

Is there any specific error code/message when the installation stops, and does the same error occur when installing (or updating) any other games or apps? What point exactly does it stop - as soon as the update starts, or at a certain percentage?
