forza 7 december update

hi have finally sorted my acct out so that no one has remote acess to it anymore, thanks to admin people who walked me through the process ,

have had the forza 7 december update today , console told me the update was about 700 meg , so i started the update and now 6 hrs later it has finished , i was astonished to see that the update was 98 gig ??? why ?? i store all my games on external hard
drive to save space on my console and play them from the external hd, i always back up games to the cloud [ about a dozen games] i have gold live membership and vip, game pass etc .

does any one have any info on why the update was 98 gig ??? would it have downloaded the whole game again ? i have not lost stuff except with the update i notice that over a 100 driver outfits that have been won and bought are no longer showing that you
have them still ? is this a glitch or have the driver outfits been deleted with the new update ? ..

hi Joel , yes thats what i presumed , dont know why , its a digital download from when the game 1st came out and never had this happen before , and it should not have downloaded the whole game again as it would have picked up that the game was on my hard
drive , very strange , and yes over a 100 of my driver suits are missing , and i notice if you go into that area [ driver suits] that all the suits there to be bought or won are no longer available , so i presume the update has cut all the driver suits out
of the game save 20 or so , have not lost any cars or money or badges etc just all the suits , the new update looks very good , but shocked at the 98 gig , i just clicked on the update that said it was about 700 meg , it started the update and said it was
98 gig , go figure lol thank god my speed is pretty quick other wise it may have taken a week lol

Hello Steve,

To me it seems that you had your Forza re-installed rather than updated.

The driver outfits should however be there as in-game items.

My suggestion is to try in the official clubs for games. Some developers will post patch notes or make a general post about an update being available.

For example, here is a screenshot I took from the official Forza 7 club when they posted about the December update.

Unfortunately the only other option, at the moment, is to search online (or they are shown somewhere in the actual game).
