Forza 6 - Weather effects and night driving

^ The new Ford GT looks stunning.

 

It sounds like they are going back to the 1st Forza game with the weather and night settings.

 

I can not wait for Forza Motorsports 6. The screens look stunning. Racing at night in Forza 6 is going to be unbelievable.

I also look forward to the weather

Well I'm old and don't get bored easily and 6 has 26 locations and 5 only had 17. This is the 10th anniversary of Forza so I don't think they will disappoint. Forza 5 was rushed out for the release of the One and lacked content, but what was there was good.
They have had plenty of time to get 6 right and I think they will.

 

I really hope Forza 6 is a step up graphically from Forza 5. It's my favorite racing franchise by far. However, I was one of the few that absolutely loved Drive Club. The weather effects and graphics were a major step up from Horizon 2 which is understandable
since it was open world. Project Cars, though I haven't played it, looks better than Forza 5. Forza 6 with DriveClub graphics and whether would probably be the best racing game ever. I can't wait for e3.

 

I definitely agree with what SGT said, Forza 5 lacked content on release, it was rushed out! Saying that I still believe these new consoles were rushed out, one company didn't want the other to go first and we saw a lot of games not quite up to standard
on launch. What it offered though even before the new content was added was brilliant in my opinion, to this day it's by far the best console racer I've ever played.

It will be interesting when they reveal the track list though. I bet there will be a few ... "Raced this countless times" ... Sure I want new tracks, who doesn't but I still hope I'll be racing on some of my favourites once again, Silverstone, Spa, Nurburgring,
etc.

I can't wait to see what they show at E3 very soon

 

^^ hit the nail on the head there Lofty, the track list will make or break it for me, they need to freshen it up a bit this release.

 

@ Mark,

The word is with this being the 10th anniversary they are going all out to please the fans. If you look on the Turn 10 forums there's loads asking for new tracks, at the same time though there's loads asking for their favourites to return so it will be interesting
to see what they reveal.

Trouble is with any racing game, you will never please everyone, some will like the track list, others won't. I still live in hope that one day we will get a proper track creator/editor, get bored of the track list, simple, just go and make some new ones
lol.

 

Got no issues with some of the classic tracks,problem with Forza is that it's had the same tracks since the first one on the original xbox..

No matter,i'll be getting Forza 6 on release,someone needs to show Lofty how to drive

I will be getting this to show you lot how the proper "oldies" do it. Lofty is a whippersnapper!

 

What i hope with this new weather is to have"camera" free of lens problem (water on lens,lens flare) all the things that only exists with a camera lens.

Bored to play camera lens simulators.Witcher 3 is a good example,beautiful but camera lens is pointless....This is a videogames not a g-dam movie.

 

I'm hoping for great things this time around, I agree with previous posts too, Forza 5 was lacking in the content category, what was there was good, but it was still a huge disappointment for me, the announcement of weather and day night racing is a very
welcome addition, but it's not a dead cert for me yet.
