Forza 6 NASCAR expansion unplayable, corrupting local save

Hey folks, today I purchased the NASCAR expansion for Forza Motorsport 6 and upon trying to play it, it resulted in an infinite loading screen showing NASCAR vehicles. Clicking the logo to open the dashboard took 15 to 20 seconds and holding the button down
to shut down the system would result in the screen going dark but giving me no windows.

The exact steps were : 1. Purchased the expansion. 2. Shut down the game and allowed expansion to download. 3. Started the game. 4. Clicked on RACE 1 blade of NASCAR expansion menu. 5. Game locked. System lagged up. 6. After Five minutes, I performed a hard
restart. 7. Console restarted with no problems, so I start the game. 8. Repeat 4, 5. 9. This time, after the console catches up with itself, ablade pops up halfa dozen times over and over again about an unkown error. I cannot close this blade so... 10. I hard
restart again. 11. Starting up the system this time gives me a notice to delete and redownload all local saves due to corruption.

Not sure what to do at this point. Can't find anything out about my problem online after a thorough search. Any help is appreciated!

here. I still need to get this game, but F5 felt really skimpy on material.

Does F6 have more tracks? Does a nascar expansion interest you?

Are you been able to uninstall the expansion then try to reinstall it again and see if this works? If this doesn't, come back to us.

Hey DarthRaitu, thanks for the response. I did this, and unfortunately it compounded the situation. I uninstalled the expansion and reinstalled it. Exact same result. Locks up on trying to load the NASCAR intro video and locks up the whole system. I did
an "Uninstall All" for Forza 6 and reinstalled everything. This time I confirmed that I could run a normal race first. Ran another game, worked as well. Ran the NASCAR expansion and it got about 15 seconds into the video and crashed again. This time, however,
my entire dashboard is experiencing the lag and locking problems and five hard resets have done NOTHING to fix the problem. All games are now unplayable and trying to sync with the cloud to recover my saves locks the whole system up. Tried moving Forza from
my internal to a USB 3.0 external locked at 75%. Trying to do a full system reset keeping my games/settings now.

Thanks for your response - so just to confirm that if you have the expansion uninstalled you can play the game normally?

If this is the case, it sounds like there may be an issue with the expansion file itself and this may be something for the publishers to deal with. I would uninstall the expansion for now so that you can play the game, and I will look into if anyone has
had other problems with this expansion and get back to you.
