Forza 6 NASCAR Expansion Out Today.

It's ridiculous in my opinion because they offer an ultimate edition for an exorbitant amount of money so people buy it thinking they will be set and get all the content. When they start releasing even more and still charge extra for it, people will wonder
why they even bought the season pass to begin with if they actually aren't getting all the content.

Season passes are BS in my opinion, but normally they will include all future content. I guess that's not the case here which makes it BS.

 

I agree SP's a re silly, but its also in the title, a season pass says to me to get content for a fixed amount of time (a season) then you have to pay more, I have no illusion a season pass would ever be the entire life of a game.

However if in the case a season pass says exactly what you get and your happy with it then buy it, then you have no reason to complain later IMO.

Whats more ridiculous are the people stating games prices haven't changed for decades.

What would be nice is if the game industry standardised its definitions and used them accordingly.

 

There is nothing to complain about.

Forza 6 ultimate includes VIP,car pass and some extra cars.

it was never stated that it will includes everything.

Cars pass isn't a season pass.

But it would be nice to have an edition where everything is included.Let say for $150.

And i guess,by the end of the year,we will get some discount or special sales.

 

I'm not sure about everywhere else but game prices have gone up €10 this gen here in Ireland. They are now €74.99

 

surely thats for a base game, taking into account battlefront everything combined is a massive increase.

Just for balance there are also cheap games available now as well.

 

Well that is for the base game. I buy my games from Simply Games so I get them for around €54 and that includes shipping to my door.

I admit my ignorance may have been the fault here, I assumed buying the Ultimate Edition would give me access to all future content for free, my bad. However, lesson learnt.

As of COD. It was, for me one of the best games, multiplayer wise I ever played. If I have to pay over the odds to replay it, so be it. However I do not go into the decision blind.

 

It's not ridiculous at all. The original ultimate edition gave you everything it promised. Even the car pass told you EXACTLY how many packs you got.

I agree on the best MP, but it will still be peer to peer, and will it have be remastered with the old stuff, like lag comp, etc or will it be the new stuff, or will it be better?

Eek so many ways to pull the memory of an amazing game down.

 

I started it last night. Turn 10 did an excellent job imo.

 

Played the NASCAR expansion for the first time this morning. Loving how they integrated it into Forza. That 200 lap Miami Showcase event is going to be brutal to complete.

 

So I picked this up for 99¢. I guess it's worth it.

 

Can I play NASCAR expansion without having Forza 6?
