Forza 6 edition console doesn't make car sounds

A friend of mine just purchased a brand new forza 6 edition xbox one console. The console is supposed to make car sounds when you turn it on and off but it does not make any sounds. Is there a setting to turn these on?

When are we going to see a forza edition xbox???

I am a sucker for limited edition consoles. The Forza Motorsport 6 LE console looks really cool. The sound effects are a nice touch. But the design of the Ford GT is what got me. The racing stripes looked awesome on Xbox One.

It kind of got me wanting to see on made for the Forza Motorsport 5 cover car... The McLaren P1

 

Haven't owned Ten Year Anniversary Car Pack after redeeming the gift card code for Forza Motorsport 6 and Forza Horizon 2 .

As title says I have redeemed the gift card code for Forza Motorsport 6 Standard Edition and Forza Horizon 2 Standard Edition ,

but I don't own Ten Year Anniversary Car Pack !

 

ive just bought one, it works fine when i press the button on the front, havent checked with kinect voice yet. probably an isolated issue, take it back and get it swapped. i am however having issues with the dashboard since buying it

 

Nevermind he just didn't realize you have to press the power button for it to make the sounds, he was turning it on with the controller everytime. It works fine

 

mine dont make sound anymore. i got it since its release date. cheap console badly made...

 

Im glad I'm not the only one. Mine stopped making sound too. Its showing signs of dying long before my xbox 360, which is running perfect still after 8 years.
