Forza 6 DLC not on my profile but on shared profile.

My brother and I have two xbox one's at home. His is linked to my Xbox as a "My Home Xbox" but I don't think mine is linked with his? But anyways, we bought Forza 6 Ultimate Edition together, but he purchased it from his Account. I did however receive all
downloads (the game and all DLC once pre-ordered) but when 9/10 rolled around when the game was released early for Ultimate edition, I didn't get the DLC. I know you are supposed to buy the cars (for free) in the Find a Car option in Forza, but I don't have
it in my account. But yet when I'm on his, he has access to all the DLC (VIP, the ten year anniversary, 2016 Mazda MX-5, and Fast and Furious car pack). Should I link my account to his Xbox as a My Home Xbox to receive the DLC? I thought I'd maybe get it upon
the actual release of the game (today, 9/15) but nope. All DLC says its installed, I play the game just fine. Now it even says that I can buy the Ultimate Edition on the Xbox Store for $99.

Can 2 Xbox Live Gold profiles on the same console both play a DLC map pack if only one profile downloads it?

I believe that on the 360, DLC can be shared among profiles on the same console, just not on Xbox One.

nope nothing can be transfered between profiles only dlc when used on the same purchasing console can be shared

however your UK profile can use the content but cannot purchase it

We never had a problem with say, the Season Pass on Call of Duty: AW. He paid for it on his account but since we are linked, we both have access to it. But we both have copies of the actual game...

Hey there, GGK Nuts! All pre-order DLC in bundles is specified for the account that made the purchase only. These items would not be available to anyone else on the Home console unless they had also purchased the special editions of the game while they are
available. While the content in the Season Pass for CoD is available to you, that is likely because it wasn't in a bundle with CoD: AW itself and bought separately.

Hopefully that explains how bundles work with Home sharing a little bit better!

Just some more info. I created another profile under my wifes name. On her profile it does the same. I also went on to Forza 6 which has the same achievements as on Forza 7 which I am struggling with and on Forza 6 the laps are adding up no matter what
car or track I use

What are you going to stop sharing?

Once you download a dlc on xbox all the profiles that are on that xbox can take advantage of that dlc as long as this is the profile that is associated with the purchase.

So you can not prevent the other profiles on your xbox use this dlc
