Forza 5...

Finally was able to purchase and DL that game this weekend... was stuck on Golf and Peggle and BF4...

Great game.... I know I am late to the show.... whatever...

Few questions tho.. not sure if it is my controller or the game.. but if I am racing in dumb mode (easiest) and I keep the throttle floored... seems like it disengages sometimes and I lose power... You can see the RPM stop moving and start to go down....
then it picks back up.... tought maybe it was controller but went to BF and unloaded a few LMGs non stop with no hesitation...

How do the "ptos" make all those pretty cars with the decals... are they all layers from what is available to us in paint? hours must be put into some of those cars

Also... uploaded a few pictures of my car... then I find out you can view them on the forza's main website... which is pretty cool....

Anyways.. to my friends.. I say Im sorry now for my insane driving techniques...I live in NYC... so brakes??? never heard of them, sorry

What I seen mentioned now, basically we get Forza 5 in 2013, Forza 6 not before 2015 but there is talk of a next gen Forza Horizon 2 released between Forza 5-6.

 

Hey I just picked it up too I drive with assists for now too lol. But the assists break for you so that's what's happening.

 

1- I believe when easy mode is used, it will slow you down, an assist to help. I suggest customizing your difficulty to give you more control, you don't want to get dependent on assists.

2- All liveries are created using layers of shapes, gradients and colors, very talented people out there.

I really want to pick up Forza creating the custom cars was always a lot of fun and I miss having a really decent driving game to play. The only thing that is stopping me is having time to play all my games and Titanfall coming out next month.

 

I know of the auto braking on easy.... I played F2... I am talking at full throttle on a straightaway.... Ill play tonight and if it happens... Ill XB record that to show you....

 

Lost Kauz on the Forums is one of the artists.



He created a Kasumi car that looks stunning. He says that simply the main image itself took about about 40 hours to create.



It's done through layering. You can do Youtube searches to see images being created through sped up time.



It's not an easy thing to do at all.



As others have suggested above try experimenting with the assists.



Turning off ABS and Traction Control will give you a little more personal control over your own speed.

welcome to Forza 5 , I think even on straight aways the cars will slow down and correct turning and things like that when all the driving assists are on.

 

I have experienced something similar. I still feel it's tied to the driving assists. But if I get too far away from the suggested lines, I have had the gas go out for a second until I was more on the road. I have found a few patches that seem to cause it
more than others.
