    FORZA 5 recently had to create a microsoft account to play, what data is it taking?


    Why can I not see the data that Forza is requesting from my account?

    All it says is Forzha Horizon 5 can access inform from your account. (Microsoft Account managment)

    "You've given Forza Horizon 5 access to the following information....

    Maintain access to data you have given Forza Horizon 5 access to

    Allows Forza Horizon 5 to see and update the data you give it access to," (WHAT DATA have I given it access to?)

    "Even when you are not currently using the app. This does not give Forza Horizon 5 any additional permissions."

    Why is it not showing the permissions given? Why does it not show in Forza sign up the details of data that will be collected?

    Where are the details of Data being taken?

    Hi Ricardo,

    Very confusing setup,

    Forced MS account to install the game.

    Xbox store on my PC shows no installed games in Library.

    Online account shows Forza Horizon 5 in my Consent permissions but no install information no information on what I have given permission for.

    Steam shows game in Library.

    I will put this down to having to have a FORCED MS account in order to install a XBox game on the PC.

    Yes agreed,

    At least in windows I have some options although not everything is open and honest at MS anymore.

    Hi Ricardo,

    I obviously missed this on the purchase page.

    The EULA has now been read and I understand the extend of data sharing from the account.

    Thank you, for pointing this out and the continued support, and perseverance you have shown.

    You can't have that information on the Xbox app as you are installing on a different platform, on steam store does mentions that you will need a Xbox account and the agreement

    If you remove permission you will lose access to the online features of the game as it can't retrieve your online data, having a Microsoft account and use it on any Xbox game as Forza means that you have an Xbox live account
