Forza 5 (PC, Steam) Multiplayer issue: You were disconnected from the server

Then if it is not needed why i still can't access myltyplayer after doing everything you told me (i am from pc and i installed forza horizon 5 from steam)

I am on Windows 10 and I see no reason why this would work on 11.

This is just occurring on Space Hulk Deathwing.

I have tried from different PCs and connections, same error. My friends on separate PCs and connections also get this error.

I have the game on steam and multiplayer works fine there. I can not use this as my friends all have it on Xbox and multiplayer between Steam and Xbox is not compatible for some reason.

The error message shown is:

ERROR: Disconnected from Server

Please verify your internet connection and try again.

Message has been showing for several months now.

You'd be better off contacting Forza Support directly.....not convinced anybody form Playground Games (Horizon developers) goes anywhere near Twitter...even the Forza Support page rarely posts any updates about issues.

I think the issue is related to how games on Steam save games etc and that it's not straightforward to transfer over...after all, you can't even transfer your save from a Microsoft Store version to a Steam version on the same PC. I think if they were able to do it or it was simple to do, they would have enabled it when the Steam version first released.

Given where we are in the game's life cycle with FH5 less than 5 months away, I wouldn't expect anything to happen now even if they could do it

This seems not like an Xbox Live issue, if EA as well as LIVE disconnect.

You could try the following:

On your PC, open up a command prompt.

Then type there:

ping -t nfs.ea.com

This should constantly be pinging an EA server, and you should hopefully get rows upon rows of answers with numbers.

Now play on your Xbox. As soon as it disconnects, check if your PC is still pinging, or if there were error messages.

If there were, then the problem is probably your Internet Service Provider or internet line itself.

this is absolutely an ubisoft issue.

theyve totally improved the gameplay of the multiplayer while destroying the server.

im on a wired network, ports forwarded, and 25 down/5 up and i get constant disconnects, from either the host or server.

its bad too, because i was TOTALLY looking forward to this game.
