Forza 5 or Forza Horizon 2?

Hello all, new xbox owner here, my internet is slow right now, to where i can search the forums, couldn't find a topic on this.

What is everyone's opinion on which game i should buy for the xbox one? I wanna do alot of online racing, which game provides better online?

What I seen mentioned now, basically we get Forza 5 in 2013, Forza 6 not before 2015 but there is talk of a next gen Forza Horizon 2 released between Forza 5-6.

 

Car pass Forza Horizon 2

Hi. In store I see app: car pass Forza Horizon 2. Price 5$. This package is included Forza Horizon 2 ultimate idition. I can play in Forza Horizon If buy package the Car pass Forza Horizon 2? I have not bought Forza Horizon 2

 

It comes down mostly to opinion. If you're very serious about sim racing and want the most realistic physics and real world race tracks then Forza Motorsport is for you. If want a bit of arcade mixed in and a big open world to explore (on and off road)
then Horizon is the way to go. Online MP follows the same path, FM5 is more focused on racing whereas Horizon is more focused on playground games (tag, cat and mouse, etc) but both games have both of those modes.

This is 100% opinion but here goes, I have both games (and have played every Forza game) and I'm having way more fun with Horizon 2 than I did with FM5.

 

Agree with above FH2 seems much more fun and the music is way better. Just a shame there aren't more cars.

 

Interesting comments guys. I'm thinking of throwing darts to decide which to get. I've had lots of fun with Real Racing 3 on my IPAD, so I'm thinking I will with Motorsport.....

 

-FM5 is great for track racing. Cars are great. Tracks are great

-FM.Horizon2 is great for road racing, off road racing, fun and games on the city streets or at the airport or at the industry yards or many other places.

Take a romp in the vineyards or tear up the golf course. Chase airplanes and trains for the win.

Take the Raptor up a long uphill race !!

Many cars that were only available as DLC's on FM5 are available thru credits thru Horizon2 (like that Raptor and the Veron)

I had a hard time choosing between the two as well, so I ended up getting both
