FORZA 5 MEET UP!!!!!

I just started this game & I'm having so much fun so despite the fact that I've finished last in all of the races that I've played.

The first car was free, so I chose the "2011 Mazda RX8 R3" and I have some questions about this game. Thank you so much for your assistance regarding this matter, I really appreciate it

(1) How do I customize the controller button layout?

(2) How do I turn off the controller vibration?

(3) Can I continue to complete the League Tournaments (a.k.a the "story mode of the game) by finishing in last place every single time?

In time you will get used to the game unfortunately I dont know the answers to your questions as I have not needed to do it. But when I comes to becoming last all the time you just need to try and find what assists and tune ups of the car are right for you.
Also it may help you if you change the drivatar difficulty down. I think you can carry on playing it and coming last but you will get less money and you wont get the achievements.

Lei I suck at the game but might I suggest a Subaru? many a times have I left these guys in the dirt using those cars (not really lol). Joking aside, the game just takes some practice. Once you master a car you like or at least get used to it, you should
do pretty well

 

By leaving us in the dirt cloud I assume you mean after pushing us off the track onto the dirt

 

Like said above I would dumb down the drivatars and then gradually increase their difficulty till you consistently finish I n the middle of the pack. You get the satisfaction of not coming in last and still have some thing to aim for. Once you start consistently
finishing in the top three raise the difficulty again. Another way to get better at the game is stay active on this thread, get involved with our weekly challenges and join some of us in a race once in a while. Every one is very enjoyable to play with and
many of us offer lots of tips and advice. No one puts anybody down

I don't care about achievements and winning because I am having so much fun with this game. Having fun is the reason that I play video games

I already got the "Worst driver ever!" (always finishing in last place) and "I will drive wherever I want to!" (always going off the track) achievements ha ha ha LOL

Also, I just figured out how to change your controller button layout and I just turned off the vibration (finally, the vibration was SO ANNOYING).

I am using manual transmission, ABS brakes, and traction control with the Drivatar set on the "Unbeatable" difficulty (I'm going to lose anyway, so I mind as well get money / credit for it LOL).

I am perfectly content with always ending up in last position because I can still complete the League Tournaments (story mode). I love Need For Speed Carbon (yes, I like NFS Carbon a lot more despite the fact that I love Forza Motorsport 5), but in NFS
Carbon it is 1rst place or nothing LOL

I love the Mazda RX8, but I can't wait to get my hands on the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 9 MR (this is the car that I use in NFS Carbon).

With that being said, this car (the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 9 MR) better NOT be DLC because I would be so mad / angry if I have to pay up to get it.

Wow, Lei Fang! Unbeatable difficulty!? I don't even go anywhere near that high! You brave, girl!

 

I currently have them set to pro difficulty. Make one mistake and I'm lucky to finish with a bronze (10th). But the only way to improve is to push yourself beyond what you know you can do. If you're comfortable then you aren't improving

 

I generally have them set to above average or experienced.

Hello everyone

I just bought the "1996 Mazda RX7 FD" and I'm going to try to buy nothing but Mazda (some League Tournaments might require me to buy other brands).

As far as I'm concerned, winning isn't everything. I still try my best despite me having the Drivitar set to the "Unbeatable" difficulty.

I initially played with the Drivatar set to "Average", but I was still placing on last place (this was before I re-configured my controller settings & turned off the vibration function).

The credit bonus with having the Drivatar on "Unbeatable" is totally worth it; especially since I always end up in last place anyway LOL

It really helped A LOT that I was able to configure my controller button layout to the set-up that I use for NFS Carbon and turned off the vibration function

I am going ''off-track" a lot less now LOL

The handling of the cars in this game is really different from how the cars handle in NFS Carbon; I still need more time to get used to the car handling in this game.
