Forza 5 malfunctioning

My Forza will not allow me to get the one free purchase of every dlc car like it says you can. I have both the vip and the car pass but no dlc cars say they are free. I have tried every option (reinstalling the game and all dlc, resetting the xbox(holding
the power button for 10 sec), re-syncing my saves)

On a another note I tried reinstalling the game after resetting the xbox didn't work. it took the game over 9 hours to download off the disc and now for some unknown reason I no longer need the disk to play it.

Tried playing the 3d disc on xbox and its malfunctioning. Stops at chapter 5. Developer please help

Microsoft is offering a free first-party game to some Xbox One users affected byhardware
problems. Microsoft said in a statement, "While a replacement console is on its way, we want to ensure our advance exchange customers can stay in the game. We will provide each of them with a free digital download of one of the launch titles published
by Microsoft Studios."

A digital copy of the selectable games -- you'd receive one copy of Forza Motorsport 5,Dead
Rising 3, Ryse: Son of Rome, or Zoo Tycoon -- will still play on a machine with
a malfunctioning disc drive, of course. In addition, Microsoft is replacing hardware at a faster rate than usual with its advance exchange program; Microsoft is sending replacement units before users mail out their faulty machines for repair.

If you select one of the DLC cars and go towards purchasing it does the pop up still ask if you want to use X number of Credits?

Sounds like it actually downloaded and installed the digital version of the game rather than a disc install version.

 

It lets me buy them normally with either x amount of credits or tokens but they r supposed to be free for the first purchase

I also checked to see if i did get a free digital copy and i believe i did. When i click on it in the store without the disk in it says play and not buy.

 

You may want to check your purchase history (Sign in to your Microsoft account) to verify you were not charged at all for the digital copy, because it's not supposed to do that...

As for the DLC issue: have you, or anyone else on the console, ever 'purchased' the cars in-game for free? If so, that would be the reason why that is not appearing; the free download of DLC cars is a one-time-only thing.

 

No one has purchased the dlc cars for free yet on my console. I downloaded all of them at once then when they finished they werent free. Also my limited edition cars did this too then one day they all became free after i already bought most of them

your free DLC cars not being available to you.
