    Forza 5: Invalid Profile


    Yesterday I was playing Forza 5 and the game kept crashing on game pass PC. I reinstalled the game and now I cannot log in. I keep getting an Invalid Profile message. The Forza Horizon profile you are trying to load is no longer available. For more information please visit support, https://aka.ms/ForzaSupport error code E:1047-0. I have tried all suggestions to fix it. My PC exceeds the recommended hardware and I am on Windows 11. I sent a support to Forza and immediately received this response:

    The Forza Support and Safety team assists with in-game issues. Unfortunately, we are unable to assist you with this issue since it is not in-game. If you feel you have an in-game issue, please submit a new ticket with the proper ticket form that pertains to your issue.     I wish any of this helped me(PC). I tried everything carefully, yet nothing changed the E: 176f-0 invalid profile error I have. I was playing 5 days ago, it crashed, then the error. I just don't get it. I would really like to know where my 240+ hours of progress is

    You're correct and yes, you can try these steps:

    1) Make sure your PC and Xbox App Offline Permissions are set to ON.

    Open the Microsoft store.

    Click on your profile Image and then click settings.

    Make sure your Offline Permissions is set to ON

    - Launch Xbox App > Settings > General > Offline Permissions.

    2) Disconnect your PC from the internet.

    3) Go to your Windows 10 Settings -> Storage -> Apps & games ->Forza Horizon 4 ->Advanced Options ->Select the "Reset" button.

    4) Start the game, start playing for a few minutes to create a new local save.

    5) Connect back to the internet.

    That's odd because the error code itself is included on the known issue list of their official site.

    Hi Francia,
    I share the same concern as OP. the same experience as well.
    Except on your Step3, I think you mean FH5.

    Can confirm, no remedy. Please help, Being shutterred around is frankly more frustrating than the bug itself.
