    Forza 5- "Installation stopped" at 14% error 0x87e00064


    I have recently bought Forza 5 and seem to be having problems getting it to install. It installs up to 14% then says " installation stopped" disc may be damaged or dirty, error code 0x87e00064, I was just wondering if there is a way I can sort this, I have
    tried doing it offline and unplugging the console etc but have had no luck, any help would be greatly appreciated!

    I put the forza 5 disc n the console 4 the first time and it began to install it stopped at 0% and said "installation stopped" and doesn't let me do anything

    i bought batman arkham knight in disc,and the instalation stops at 30%. it says,installation stopped. and a code error 0x87e00064. please help.

    I just had this same trouble with COD. All my other games worked fine. After multiple retires I was able to get it to work by the following:

    1. Turn off your console

    2. Power cycle your gateway/router (turn off for 30 seconds)

    3. Boot your gateway back up and once internet is established,

    4. Turn on console and resume install.

    If (when) it works for you too I'd suggest marking this as an answer so others affected can find resolve also.

    having the same issue as well. But I had it with Ryse as well.

    Somehow I've managed to complete the installation of Forza by restarting the install with the game physically out of the drive. It literally downloaded the whole damn game. I just had to stick the Disk in at the end to verify the install.

    BTW I returned my Ryse disk back to Best Buy where I got it, exchanged it on Black friday got home.. tried to reinstall bam.. 56% "installation Stopped"....

    its our consoles they're screwed up somehow..
