Forza 5 disk not always recognised

    Forza 5 disk not always recognised


    since I have had the latest update on my X1 whenever i play forza after about 10 mins it ask if i am the the owner of the game as the blu ray player has obviously stopped spinning stopping me from continuing with the game. the only way round this is to eject
    the disk then reload it. this has only been happening since the last update. anybody else having similar problems? so annoying

    Console does not recognise the disk

    Whenever I put my SOULCALIBUR IV disk into the console it says "disk not recognised"

    Compared to Forza 5, Forza 4 is Cheap and with more great racing opportunities.

    Forza 4 Disk 2 is additional content that couldn't be put on just 1 disk.

    Xbox one will not play games

    Disks not been recognised is different to the 0% install thing.

    If the system does not recognise the disk you have a dud console. The 0% install thing is slowwwwwwww download servers, before installing from the disk it patches the game, which can take hours at the moment.

    Gears 5 - Snubbed from 2019 Video Game Awards GOTY category! Change my mind.

    I put little stock in to awards as I find that its not always representative of reality! Gears 5 is great and is recognised by the numerous people that play it, which is the main thing I believe.

    Lego Marvel save problem.

    Well that lasted long!!! Very next play it doesn't recognise my progress 30 seconds after I saved and exited! At least I can put extra hours into Forza 5 and I have £19 towards Watch_Dogs.

    Discs not reading properly.

    Same problem here, recognised BF4 when first inserted, but failed to install, said disk may be dirty, it wasn't. Then refused to eject disk until it was powered off/on. Now won't recognise any disk format, Game, BR, DVD or CD, after a minute or so it just
    says "Cannot read this type of disk". A pretty basic failure for a games console; very poor!

    If it's not a software issue, i'll be returning it for a full refund, no way I sending it back for repair, it's a joke.
