Forza 5 Car Selection

Hi All,

This maybe a stupid question but if i don't ask it I'll never know.

I'm a VIP member on Forza 5 and i thought that if i purchased a car either with credits or tokens then you should be able to drive it in the races.

I would like to know if there is a solution so i can race with cars of the same class as others in the same race, I'll give an example;

I was in the American Muscle Revival section and racing in the Road America race 5/17 (including bonus races) and i noticed the Ford XB Falcon GT and thought i would like to race it along side the other Ford XB Falcon GT cars, but once i purchased the car
it doesn't let me use it in the race at all. I've tried using it as it comes, tried upgrading it and also down downgrading it but i still can't race it.

Is there a reason for this, or am i doing something wrong?

I've tried with other cars in various other races and i get the same result with those cars too.

I hope there is a easy solution to this as i don't think its fair that im not able to race the same car against the same opposition, no matter what race or car it is.

Any help is greatly appreciated

How to change your cars in forza horizion 2

You go to a forza Horba, and from there you can check your garage or you can buy a car at an auto show. When you go to your garage select a car and then select the option get in.

 

That's very strange.

I suspect that there may be limitations in the race that stop you from using this car.

Can you create your own game and use the car?

 

I havent tried making my own race as I want to use this car in this race. Other drivatars are using the car so I thought I would be able to, but I just cant and it doesnt make sense to me at all.
