Forza 4 STILL not updating no matter what I do

I am away to give up on this - Forza 4 is not updating because of the 'installation stopped' message.

I factory reset my xbox and still nothing changed, I deleted the local saved games on my xbox and it made no difference, I canceled the queue but it didn't work, I updated my xbox and that didn't work, I restarted by xbox and still nothing, I uninstalled
forza and it didn't make any difference, I went offline and tried to download the update and it didn't work, so I just don't know what on earth I am going to do.

I also got an external hard drive and downloaded forza onto that but it also made no difference.

I just hope I don't have to go out and buy another xbox.

Please note that I have the first generation xbox one and a disk version of Forza horizon 4.

Somebody please help me!

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to hopefully get this to stop stopping. I can totally understand how this could be pretty disheartening. If the troubleshooting steps detailed previously and in your prompt have yet to resolve the issue,
then I suggest going to Settings> Devices and Streaming> Blu-ray> persistent storage and clearing that three times. Once that has been done, go to
Settings> General> Network Settings> Advanced Settings> Alternate MAC address, clearing that and letting your console restart.

When you get the chance, give that a shot and let us know how that affected the situation.

possibly the problem is the disk failure, my question is if you have game pass to download it there?

have you looked on the forza forums if other people are reporting the same problem if you cant find a solution on the forum try contacting forza support on the issue
