Forza 4, can’t connect to online features

Forza horizon 4:

Suddenly for the past week I haven’t been able to connect to horizon life at all ( rivals, auction house etc) but I’m able to participate in forzathon and be in game with other users, please help me on how to fix this ....... this game has been filled with
issues and it seems a lot of people have this problem

Hey Cameron thanks for taking the time to bring this issue to us!

We have encountered this issue before with the release of the new game. The easiest work around to this is to make a new
Microsoft Account and add the current account to it as a minor through the
Family page on our website. Once that is done the Privacy settings have to be modified from the new account (parent account) once that is done sign out of the
original account and sign back in. Also check out the
Forza Forums to report this bug. Give it a shot and let us know if we can further assist in this or any other issue or inquiry!

That’s strange, let’s try to isolate the problem a bit more. For this please try when possible

A. Sign in Forza horizon 5 with a different account and test the online features

B. Sign in with your account on a different PC and try accessing the online features from there

By the way, if maybe you play Forza horizon 4 or other online game. Are you able to experience something similar?

We are looking into this.

The problem is that as this is a feature we’ve added to the game for free, and outside of the initial scope of the game, we need each of the 4 players to have a constant connection.

In normal online play, one player would be the host and as long as his connection is stable, the game will a high percentage of the time stay stable. Unfortunately as we’ve already agreed on the game architecture with Microsoft and Sony we can’t move to
a host system. This means that we are relying on 4 constant connections over long distances and increases the chances of disconnection.

If you could play a round, with a few different people to try and find the weak link, that would be helpful for us.

If we can’t find a simple solution to this though, without breaking out concept approval with Sony and Microsoft I’m going to have to remove the feature.

Are you referring to the online being blocked before horizon life? You need to complete all 4 seasons to access online features in forza. Can you give us more details about your issue?
