Forza 4 always crashes to desktop. New Laptop. Windows 11.

I recently bought & installed the Ultimate edition of Forza 4 on a new HP laptop, who's specs are well above the game's system requirements. It starts and runs beautifully every time until CH1 of Stunt Driver. At which point it hangs for maybe 20 seconds then crashes to the desktop. Every single time. Must be 30 times now. And always at the same point. I've visited the Forza support pages and tried all the listed fixes and then some. Mic OFF, AV & Firewall OFF, running in background, Run as admin, Clock sych'd, culling start up apps, tried off line, etc. etc. No change. It runs smoothly until then. But its useless as is, as I can't progress in the game and access any of the extras paid for with the Ultimate edition. The MS APP store doesn't offer a refund option this either. So I have to try to fix it...

When I open a Forza support ticket I get no help. I have found Forza's support to be worse than useless They offer no help, I end up waiting days just to get cut and paste junk responses saying they only respond to "in game issues". No sure how they figure a repetitive crash within the game doesn't qualify for that, but anyway. Every time I was polite and patient and attached multiple crash reports etc, but no help. There is seemingly no way to complain either. I get allocated the same useless "help" guy every time, (I've noted quite a few people bad mouthing him on line, so its not just me, hes no help and IMHO has an attitude). Forza's cookie cutter response suggests contacting Microsoft support, but Mircosoft's help pages just say to contact the game's maker... (i.e. they send me around and around in a cycle of no help from anyone involved). :-( Its sold through the MS APP store. They took the $ but both MS and Playground Games are hand balling the problem, for a product with an appalling on line reputation of being PC crash happy.
