Forums makes a move

Hey everyone!

Forums have been an important part of the Xbox community for more than 10 years, and we love how you all contribute great questions and great help to each other. You show so much passion and have given lots of great feedback and insights to our team along
the journey for these forums. As Xbox continues to grow and evolve, our forums need to do the same. So, in the coming months, we’ll be moving the current Xbox Forums to be part of the Microsoft Community forums (answers.microsoft.com). The Community site is
a fantastic and more enhanced forums platform. You’re going to be stoked, and we hope your passion, discussions, questions, and insights continue.

Much like the current Xbox Forums, the Xbox area of the Community forums will offer the same ability to ask questions, chat about games, help each other, and more—with threads, replies, and all your favorite forums functionality. And all your existing conversations
from the Xbox Forums will move over too.

The Community forums are also home to discussions about Windows, Office, Skype, and many other Microsoft products. With Xbox joining this community, you’ll be able to talk about gaming on Xbox consoles, Windows PCs, and mobile devices in one place, as well
as any other Microsoft products that you use. It’s like our own version of cross-play for Microsoft gaming discussions.

To get ready for this move, we’ll be updating the structure of the current Xbox Forums in a month or so. The new structure will have fewer levels of depth so more of the conversations happen in one place and take fewer clicks to find.

Be sure to keep an eye out for updates. We will continue to keep you informed as we progress and will be giving you the opportunity to check out the new experience and give us feedback before we officially move.

Unable to make moves

Yes, apparently there was a Surface Update on January 14th that broke several apps (including even large ones like Google Chrome) where multi-touch controls are enabled. This may also explain why your sister's still works- especially if she didn't take the
update or has auto-updates turned off. Apparently rolling back the update doesn't help either. I've submitted this to see if there's anything at all we can do from our end or if we just have to wait for a Surface hotfix. I'll keep you updated on what I find.
