Forums are fairly quiet these days.

Being off work sick has given me plenty of time to regularly browse these forums.

And I have noticed just how few posts have been added over the past few days, ie. just 14 in this General Xbox Discussion section.

Do people just not bother anymore?

I`ve always found this to be a great place to come for chats and info.

It's quiet everywhere,it's just that time of year.

Once the games start rolling out again it should pick up.

I know quite a few forum regs just got fed up with all the bickering & some other things so don't bother posting as much as well.

 

The xbox one section is busy, this section has just died over the last few months.

Nobody seems to come here to discuss anything anymore, they only come here to complain, file reports or are in the wrong section and need support instead.

We used to have a great mod that created topics everyday, he`s gone, now we have no mods that get involved at all.

In my opinion it should be the mods keeping these forums alive, if no one is creating discussions they should be.

 

As Owen mentioned, the Xbox One general section seems to be going pretty steady, and even the General Game section has decent traffic, but this section.... dead.

 

There are too many sections. Cut the number of boards and make the place look busy. Casual visitors will be more likely to stay then.

Do we really need General Game Discussion, Xbox General Discussion, Xbox Live General Discussion, and Xbox One General Discussion?

Cut it down to Xbox 360 General Discussion and Xbox One General Discussion.

 

Gamers have either moved to the One or PS4, think no one really seems that interested in last gen to be honest but, there's not much to justify upgrading to any new system at the moment in my opinion.

 

Seems like the same numbers to me........ Support areas are even breaking records..... Just depends on what area you decide to frequent.....

 

Admittedly I don`t frequent the Xbox One sections as not owning one I don`t see the point.

 

I frequent just about every section of these forums and activity has actually picked up a little as it died after E3, but it's picked up again a little. This part is always slow though.

Also Paraffin just because you don't own one doesn't mean you can't come and join in the discussion, there is more people then you realise that don't own one and post there and they are a welcomed part of the community.

 

It's probably just a slow time. It happens. I try to frequent the forums a few times a week, but sometimes I can't get on.
