Forum Updates? What Kind Of Jedi Mind Trick Is This?

For my other consoles, none of the forums are official, this is the only one. I think ms would give a good warning if we are to part our ways. I think we have a good regular base of people, surely we want to be talking while we all turn 70?

Why bother.....We are maybe 50 (at best),coming in here regularly....So having "fancy high tech" forum won't change anything......

I like my "wasteland forum" this way .No need to bother,it doesn't matter.

 

I'm guessing they are working/moving things around today?

I'm having a nightmare with error messages etc.

I don't think it's my laptop as all other sites I've been to are working fine.

 

Yeah I'm getting a load of rubbish today too Lofty. In all honesty it's been pants on my IPad for quite some time now, one of the reasons I don't visit much anymore.

 

I use to use my iPad for browsing on here but like you it's too much hassle.

Works better on my laptop but far from perfect.

I'm not having a go or judging because I wouldn't have the first clue how to get a site up and running. I would have thought though that this being an Official Microsoft site they would have had something better than what we have today.

I use to post on a couple of independent forums set up but some gamers I met on Xbox LIVE. The sites were nothing fancy but they worked. Easy to navigate, pleasant on the eye, they done their job.

I remember a few people saying a while back. It's like Microsoft really don't care about these forums. Maybe they would be happier if people went over to Twitter etc. Almost like they are purposely made awkward to make people move on? Who knows.

 

Yea I use the Ipad at home and its a flippin nightmare, not much better here on the PC at work trying to dodge the green drop downs to actually navigate is just a joke really....

 

I think i already said that....but no need to go very far : Halo,Gears of war,Fable,Forza websites /forums (IPs owns by Microsoft) are way better....

Still don't get why Xbox website/forums can't have the same treatment and why it is soooooo hard to get something similar.

 

Well at least the pages on this site no longer take 10 hours to load, we don't have to sit back and wait as this site struggles to load pages. I know Microsoft is an American company, and it may take a bit of time to communicate if you live in New Zealand
or Australia, but it should only take a few seconds to load pages on any site with broadband speeds. Especially for a company which is known worldwide who specialize in software. It use to be that pages struggled to load regardless of which browser you use
on your phone or computer. But since the start of this week, pages have been loading at least 2x faster than normal.

 

Uh oh, that shouldn't of happened!

 

There are a lot of other places on this site that lots of different people go to. It's not just this sub forum.
