Hello. I got my son an xbox 1 s with the fortnite skin code, for his 12th birthday. When we put in the code, it says its already used. He loves fortnite and he has always wanted this xbox skin. Help. It was brand new by the way.

What platform are you using to play Fortnite?

After redeeming any Xbox exclusive Fortnite skin on the Xbox platform, I believe you must sign into the game on an Xbox console in order for it to appear in your skin wardrobe.

please double check if you unlinked the epic account, if you have done so you'll need to relink it again.

Unfortunately Fortnite skins are account locked. These are individual rewards or purchases that bind to the account they're unlocked on. You're not able to transfer fortnite skins between profiles.
