    Fortnite won't work on my Xbox Series S


    For the past couple days I have not been able to get my Fortnite to work no matter what I do. I've tried closing and re-opening, turning my Xbox off and back on, resetting, hard resetting, unplugging, signing out and back in, uninstalling and re-installing, and resetting some other things too but none of it has worked. This is only happening to my Fortnite and not to any of my other games and it works on my Xbox One, but I don't know why. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

    This ether didn't work or I did it wrong. So I was wondering if I have to unplug my Ethernet cable from my Xbox and/or unplug the power cord from the Xbox too.

    Thank you so much for the update, Colby. Kindly perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

    1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

    2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

    3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    If that's the case, you may need to reach out to Epic games since this is the only game that you're having an issue with as well as we have performed all the necessary steps.
