    Fortnite won't launch.


    Fortnite won't launch for me. Yesterday, I loaded up "save the world" mode, and the app asked for a 2.5GB update. I waited a while, and I got "installation stopped" at 97%. I retried, same results. All through the night the update would automatically retry,
    and fail, at 97%. This morning I decided to reinstall fortnite, and I did so, but when I finally pressed A on the app, it opened to the regular launch screen with "Fortnite" and the characters, but shortly after, it bumped me back to to the home screen. I've
    been retrying for the past hour to launch the app and and it sends me back to the home screen without an "error screen." there's no "game couldn't launch" or "do you own this game or app." It just kicks me back to the screen. This has happened to me before,
    with my Minecraft. It wouldn't launch, so I reinstalled it, but it wouldn't finish installing. So I lost Minecraft, and now I'm scared to reinstall fortnite because I'm afraid I'll lose it too. Please help! [XBOX ONE S]

    any time i go to play fortnite i get sent back to home page. the game won't launch, i can play all other games except fortnite. how can i fix this without loosing everything i've done

    Fortnite Won't Launch on my Xbox

    I was able to install fortnite on my Xbox One but have not yet been able to successfully launch the game. The game will go to the loading screen get halfway down the loading bar then freeze and kick me back to the xbox home screen. I have tried every xbox
    trouble shooting technique including: restarting my xbox, resetting it and deactivating and reactivating my account. Idk if its a bug or what but wondering if anyone could help me, thanks.

    Fortnite and mine craft to won't launch

    Try removing the account from the console and then re-adding it. I would also try doing a restart of the console by holding the power button until it turns off, wait a minute or so and then turn it back on. See if that clears up the issue.

    I have kind of the same problem. I tried foe like 2 days now to log into my account but sometimes it won't let me. If it does let me sigb into my account, when i try to launch something like Fortnite or YouTube, its says for some reason Fortnite has taken
    too long to start

    Fortnite will not launch

    You may need to uninstall the game and then power cycle the console by holding down the power button for 5 seconds.

    The console should restart after that and then try reinstalling the game to see if that fixes your issue.
