Fortnite wont launch

hi my boys recently have been unable to launch fortnite after a fortnite update. I have tried re installing the app and restarting console all have failed. I have looked through settings and everything seems to be running fine other then being able to launch
fortnite. Can some one help please as i have 2 devastated boys.

Fortnite wont launch

Had same problem my sons worked fine untill last week now just freezes or throws you back to title screen . Anyone any ideas how i can solve this , thanks

Try to remove you account in :

Settings > All Settings > Account > Remove Account

Reset your xbox : push start button during 8 - 10 seconds.

Reload your account.

Launch your game.

Hi. Please press and hold the power button on your console for 10 seconds to do a hard reset. Turn the console on and try again.

If that didn't work please navigate to the game under my games and apps and press the menu button and scroll down to saved data and select to delete all locally saved data. Your saved data will sync from the cloud once you open the game again

 

You can do a Power Cicle on your Xbox, press and hold Power Button for 10 seconds and wait 2 minutes then turn Xbox on again, If It does not work so You can delete your profile from your Xbox, If none of it Works You can delete the data of your profile from
your Xbox for that game, and when You open the game You Will use the data which is on cloud.

 

Thanks for all the suggestions guys but have tried all these things and fortnite still wont launch just stays on homepage

 

Probably there are problems with data sync. Try to
delete your local data (selecting only "Delete from console") and try again to launch the game.

Please quit the game totally and then perform a full shut down and reboot the console. If the issue persists please uninstall and reinstall the game. Should the issue persist beyond this point let us know and we can go from there!

 

Thanks but i have tried all these things several times it has now been a week and still unable to rectify this. Becoming a joke and a total waste of money.
