    Fortnite Update Issue?


    So, i had to completely reinstall the game (which due to limited internet, i would prefer not to do again.) and an update was released in between me downloading the game and finishing the download. So when the game downloaded, after it finished i started
    the update. Now its acting like the update is the same size as the game itself when i KNOW it isn't. Someone please help me.

    I believe Fortnite is going be fixing this issue with an update. Not sure when the update going come out but there should be one in a few days.

    In the meantime, I recommend you going to Fortnite Forums and provide your feedback to them regarding issues in the 9.10 update.

    I did not try to restart the console. After the download finished, i just started the update. I did pause it and restart the console a few times to try to fix the update though

    try holding the power button on your console for 10 seconds.

    This will clear local cache.

    Retry afterwards.

    I already had this problem with the COD, with the update of the second season I had to install the whole game again, in your case it must be some bug, after you downloaded the game you tried to restart the console? Maybe update the actual size of the update,
