Fortnite uninstalling its self

Fortnite has deleted itself off of our Xbox one console. Question 1. Is it normal for games to delete their self? It takes so long to download Fortnite and uses a lot of my internet data which runs my internet bill up. Question 2. Is it normal for a game
to take so long to download like this? I finally upgrade my sons Xbox 360 to a Xbox one for Christmas so I don't know that much about this console. I have searched other threads with in Microsoft community but no one seems to have heard about this happen but
a small select group. No one else lives in the house. So you can rule the assumption that someone is sneaking on and deleting it out. This make three times we have downloaded this game. I had to also download Apex legends twice. Thank you in advance for taking

Good questions.

1. There have been more and more developers that are making updates so sophisticated that if the update is interrupted, that the whole game will get uninstalled.

2. It really depends on your internet signal. You can see if there's any way for you to speed that up though if it's possible by following the steps outlined in

Troubleshoot slow game or app downloads on Xbox One.

Fortnite is complete removed off of the console at the moment. I just had to reinstall it day before yesterday. As far as I know it did not have any updates that needed to be completed. The game was not played at all yesterday and then this morning when
we got on it was uninstalled again. This is actually the second time we have installed this game. I do not want to reinstall it again until I figure out why its deleting its self. This is a brand new console.

The Apex legend I just installed and the next morning it wasn't deleted but it did have to go back through the process of updating or reinstalling which took a vary long time.

Also you said that, "Sometimes when they go to update if something happens they will be removed completely." What exactly are you referring to "when something happens"? Anything specific on my end that I am doing that could be that something?
