When I play, I have a different character and it does not let me change this. Then I get booted off the game. appreciate the help!

This is an issue to bring to the Fortnite support team, as they believe you account has been compromised, this could be due to suspicious activity.

If it's your EPIC account that has been compromised, it would be on their side. If it's your Microsoft account then the account team can assist you. Are you seeing any other things compromised besides Fortnite?

Well Xbox support won't do anything for you. You have to contact your local law enforcement to file for theft of your account and CreditCard information.
