Fortnite stuck on start screen

The best way to solve this issue is to delete the game, restart the console and download the game again. Your game saves and in game currency will remain under your account

Same thing has happened to me on fortnite. It gets stuck at the starting screen when you open the game

Same with me what did you do to fix it

I installed the game and update 4 times in all, in different orders etc. Weird solution I found was that if you activate the xbox guide during the loop and allow the video to run in the background until it's got past the bit where it cuts out and loops to
the start again, then close the xbox guide and return to the game - it works.

I watched the intro video to the first mission probably about 40 times in all haha yick. It just kept cutting out when the guy jumps on the train, and going back to the beginning of the video. Over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

I had this problem too, along with a bunch of others at launch. The problem seemed to stem from the update corrupting the HDD install. I wiped all BF3 from my HDD, than loaded it up from disc so the update would download. Later I installed to HDD and
everything worked fine. Others had success with this approach too.

I've got the same problem. Can't play the campaign at all because the intro to the first mission keeps looping.
