Fortnite sound issue

I have sound when I turn on the xbox, load fortnite, and in the lobby. As soon as a game starts the the TV is completely silent. Once it ends there's sound again.

I played a game on a different xbox console on someone else's account and everything worked fine on their TV. So I signed into my account on their xbox and played a game of fortnite and it goes silent. Could this be a problem within my account? It doesn't
seem like a fortnite problem but an account problem. Every other games audio works just fine. Could someone of had reported me?

Anybody else having this issue?

Is it only Fortnite that is creating these sounds and causing the console to freeze?

Please clarify the symptoms produced when you try to load Fortnite.

Post a reply with a little more information about what the issue is to best assist you.

You may want to try uninstalling and reinstalling the game if it is just Fortnite that is creating the issue

fortnite in game volume

there is no sound with or without headphones. when im in game mode while playing fortnite. all of my volume settings are turned up.

all other times. and games have. no volume issues. anyone. else have this issue?

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear about the issue with sound in Fortnite. If the issue is only happening on one game the error may be present with the folder. Have you tried

uninstalling and
re-installing Fortnite?

Another thing you may want check the in-game audio settings.

Try this out and let us know the results.

 

Try removing the account from the console deleting the game, doing a hard restart, hold the power button for 10 seconds while the system is on, and then re-adding the account. Finally download the game again.
