Fortnite server issues

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

As I have checked there is no issue on Fortnite's end or on Xbox's end which means that we just need to perform troubleshooting steps such as extended powercycle and reset your network hardware.

1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

You can check the status of Xbox services her https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status. When I checked it everything is looking normal. But you might also be dealing with internet service issues. I like to check with https://downdetector.com and put
in my provider to see what is going on with them if I am having issues.

Fortnite is not on the game pass but Ultimate includes Live that Fortnite is using for online. It is a server issue or your internet issue. Have you contacted your local ISP?

then contact epic as its their servers you connect too.

currently there are no issues listed for fortnite so it could be an account issue

According to the above site, fortnite servers have seen a huge spike in outage claims in the last couple of hours. Sounds like a known issue. Just give it a bit of time and try again
