Fortnite queue issue

Well no as it's a developer issue not an xbox issue

Fortnite handles and manages the queue not xbox

It is on the go but depends on the game

If you are talking about fortnite

That doesn't require gpu

And is queued due to the popularity of the game just like Diablo 4

Even with cloud.you need to.sign into game servers which if they are heavily populated online only games which can have queues

If you want to avoid this avoid popular games.that are online only like fortnite or Diablo 4

Queues are not.the responsibility of gamepass ultimate or psn for that matter

It is upto the developer

Queues help.maintain to avoid congestion on servers.If a server.is too populated in popular games like fortnite then they limit the amount of people playing at a time

This is independent of subscription or

(paid or free with fortnite )

Since it is the developer.not.the cloud service that maintain the queue and.game.service

Xcloud only provides.you.with an online machine with the game installed on it vs owning your own machine or installing the.game

From.there you connect to .the .game.servers and put into their queue not xbox's

And no fortnite still queues paid or free as congestion is based on players online NOT paid or free status

When It gets to the end it doesn't load up fortnite it shows up as "sorry queue is longer than expected" and I wanna play the new season but I cant because of this and if I go on the actual fortnite app my game crashes because old tablet

Ok have got it working.

Tried the suggestion of d/l from web which whilst prompting on desired device for install was still not adding to queue on xbox.

I tried restarting a paused Fortnite 2 update but this did not resume, I could not get other updates to install either by selecting them and promoting to top of queue either. Strange as I was updating other games yesterday with FN2 update paused and the
reported games with gold issue. I could also not pause the FN2 update again which was not actually transferring data. A couple more hard resets and the FN2 update has resumed and I can also add Batman.

Guessing some sort of issue with queue/FN2 paused update was causing problems.

Sorry to hear you are having long queues with Fortnite. Unfortunately, no one here is going to be able to answer that. XCloud is in Beta so they will be constantly looking to optimize it. I would suggest leaving feedback so they are aware how long the queues are.
