Fortnite profile

Took XBox One to service to the store. They resetted the box, but kept games/Apps. I thought great, I can pick up where I left.

However, when launching Fortnite, it'll open in another username and game starts from zero. I had bought extras along the way, but now they are not found when starting Fortnite. Any suggestions?

Sounds like they added an account to test the xbox maybe. Have you readied your own account again? That will still store all your progress. Here's a guide on how to do this Add

No it didn't, there was a new gamertag. And game starter from scratch.

That means that you signed into a different account then what you were using previously so if you are not sure what the email address was for the account that you were signed into but know the gamertag for it you can contact xbox support by going to support.xbox.com
and if they can verify ownership of the account they would be able to give you the email address associated with the account.

You have to link your accounts through the Epic game site. It will bring everything over

When you signed in with your profile on the console did it bring up the same gamertag that you had before the reset?
