    Fortnite PC not uploading to xbox dvr


    I can't upload my screenshots and clips of fortnite to xbox dvr from the win 10 xbox app. Windows and Xbox is fully updated. the error is "We do not recognize this game"

    Cant recognize Fortnite

    I tried uploading a clip that I got playing Fortnite on my PC and it wont let me upload it saying that it doesn't recognize the game. But I've seen some people upload the game but it says "Fortnite Battle Royale" for them and for me it only says "Fortnite".
    I don't know if that is the problem or not. can someone help me fix this?

    Xbox Dvr not uploading

    so Xbox dvr wont upload for me, it records the clips but they won’t go live

    Xbox 1S recording

    Hi, you can use the xbox dvr but the length is short, if you want to record longer videos you'll need an external capture card. you can dowload the clips you record with the dvr with the xbox app on the pc or by uploading them on onedrive.

    Cant view game clips on PC

    In the Xbox App, you need to go to Game DVR then hit "Shared" to take the view off "On this PC". Can you see the clip there?

    If not, you can on your console upload the full clip using Upload Studio which will upload it both to Game DVR again but also OneDrive (if you tick the box), then you could download it from either place and upload to YouTube. It's a workaround but at least
    it would work.

    If you have a mobile game clip what you've recorded to your phone using a screen capture app or something like that, you can't upload that video to Xbox Live.

    Sorry, but that's not the way it works. You can download, edit and upload back
    to Xbox Live only those game clips that
    you’ve recorded with the Game DVR feature.

    Step 1: Upload the video to Xbox Live (what you want to edit)

    Step 2: Once it's uploaded to the Xbox Live, download it to your Win10 PC via Xbox App

    Step 3: Edit, trim and save the new game clip


    Step 3: Upload your edited video back to Xbox Live
