Fortnite on PC Xbox app

no as you have to get vbucks via ingame or through the epic store on pc, fortnite on pc has nothing to do with microsoft or xbox.

you can redeem on pc via xbox app or store but to access them you need to be on xbox console version of the game.

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. You can download Fortnite on the Xbox app on the PC and play there, or there is a pc version also that will allow you to play. You then can play with your son on Fortnite as long as cross play is enabled
on the Xbox. Also make sure to add each other as epic friends and can invite from there too.

anything for fortnite in the windows store is for the xbox console version only, to sync it with epic would need to log into an xbox and open fortnite.

anything you want to purchase for fortnite on pc has to be through the epic store or in game as microsoft has nothing to do with fortnite on pc.

Fortnite Battle Royale is a free to play game. I downloaded it from the Epic Games website and it is not from the MS store.

Sadly, I do not own any pc games in the MS Store, only from steam.

But Fortnite is also available on xbox, so why can the app not realise what game it is?

I understand. I thought this issue was happening on your Xbox console.

Are you having this issue only with Fortnite or with all the other games on your PC?

Do you have the Xbox Accessories App installed on your computer?
