Fortnite on 2 consoles & 1 live gold account

Your xbox live gold is linked to you main account and your main xbox.

You can play fornite with your gold account on all xbox you want.

For your children account he only can play fornite on your main xbox, in your case the xbox one s

You can change your main xbox 5 time a year

Make sure you are the main account holder on both console and add your child as family member.. allow them to have instant sign in to avoid you being signed out on xbx... anything you buy ie games should be from main account otherwise you wont be able
to share it but fortnite content is separate purchase only for 1 account ie v bucks

site here, but basically, you would sign in with the account that you purchase all your games with, and you would make it their "Home Xbox". When you do that, it will make it so that everyone who signs on that console will be able to play the games you
have bought and share your Xbox Live Gold sub.

Well that's not how home console works

Ok so let's call your profile profile 1 and your xbox one x console 1

Your son profile is profile 2 and console 2 for thr xbox one

Since profile 1 is gold console 2 MUST BE set to home console for profile 1 and profile 2 can use the gold from that and be signed into his own profile 2

HOWEVER gold is NOT required on fortnite or any f2p games

Profile 1 can play on console 1

Profile 2 can use your content on console 2 only

While profile 1 can use your content on console 1 as long as you are connected to live

You cannot be signed in on two different places

What you are talking about is guest account NOT home console

Your profile must be signed out of console 2

Ok first to explain it

Lets call the primary account account 1 with gold and games and dlc

And the second account account 2 that wants to play coop etc whatever

Console 1 is the home console

And console 2 is visiting console

Console 1 Account 1 makes console 1 home and both account 1 -2 can use dlc and gamea and gold on console.1

On console 2

Account 1 must sign into live to use dlc and games at all times

Account 2 does NOT have gold on console 2 as ita on console 1 you have a limit of 10 switches per year gamepass isnt shared only the gold part of ultimate is with one gold only one can be roaming

Keep in mind an profile can only signed in on one place at a time so there Must be two profiles for them to play together
