    Fortnite not updating.


    My problem:

    For the last two updates, Fortnite will not update. I keep getting an “installation stopped” message. I have done all troubleshooting possible with the help of gamer support and have had no luck.

    Steps I have taken to troubleshoot:

    -uninstalling and reinstalling the game multiple times

    -hard rebooting the system multiple times

    -manually changing DNS settings

    -factory resetting the console. (Keep Games reset)

    I have also contacted Epic support and they unfortunately didn’t have any advice, my account looks fine from their end (no restrictions or flags) They also don’t have reports of this problem from others.

    I’m coming back to see if there are any other options left or if it could possibly be a hardware issue.

    I managed to install the System Software Update and it installed a 14GB update for Fortnite. But it seems like Fortnite has reinstalled from the very beginning. its Fortnite Battle Royale. Anyone got updates ? Much appreciated.

    1. Sign out Fortnite, then sign back in.
    2. Install the latest Fortnite patch.
    3. Update your sound card driver.
    4. Make sure your microphone is on for Fortnite.
    5. Check your audio settings.
    6. Reinstall Fortnite

    I believe Fortnite is going be fixing this issue with an update. Not sure when the update going come out but there should be one in a few days.

    In the meantime, I recommend you going to Fortnite Forums and provide your feedback to them regarding issues in the 9.10 update.
