    Fortnite - Microphone Won't Work


    We just purchased a HyperX Cloud Stinger Core headset for our XBox One, and the microphone will NOT work in the game Fortnite. Has anyone else experienced this issue, and if so, what was the fix? It is only happening in Fortnite. The microphone works
    fine when plugged into my phone or in XBox Party mode. The sound works in Fortnite, but not the microphone.

    I was just told by HyperX to uninstall Fortnite and reinstall it. I did that (don't worry, everything you already had stays put in the game) and just restarted it and the microphone is now working.

    Hey, instead of this problem only happening in fortnite, my the xbox isnt picking up any sound but has been working fine for several months. My mic monitering is working like always, it relays sound back to me of its too loud, but the xbox isnt sensing
    any audio at all from the mic.
