    Every time I join a party( or play random fills), my headset/mic acts as if mute and I cannot speak or hear anyone. I have to start a party and then switch to game chat for it to work. Been having this issue for a while now and I've checked my stetting
    on Xbox and Fortnite. Can anyone help?

    Fortnite mic issue

    Check the Fortnite audio settings. If headset works with everything else, the issue is related to the game.

    I dont really play any other games but i do have warzone but ive asked some of my friends to come on and see if my mic works but they dont join it so i dont know how id check it.

    I dont really play any other games, but i know that the same issue is happeing to some of my friends as well. But i cant use the xbox party chat as the friend inplay with is on ps4, the issue has been happening for nearly a month now.

    This might be a problem without your headset, trying using it on a different game and see if it still does this.
