    That error points to an issue with the app you are using (fortnite). Are you able to purchase anything directly from Epic if you log into their site?

    I do not have an X account so I am unable to see whether this issue has been resolved, my son's Fortnite account says this error, however, I can log in to their Fortnite account on my Xbox. Has there been any updates on a possible fix or when the issue will be resolved?

    Fortnite - can't add or accept friends

    Solution:

    "logged into Fortnite website and tuned on “Require PIN to add Epic friends”, then turned it back off."

    this solved the issue.

    Just done the reset and it’s still doing the same, my partner logs in then I log in as player 2 and try to join in the Fortnite loads then stops and shut Fortnite down back to Xbox Home Screen.
